That suggests their potential for further explosive growth is somewhat limited. Sure, the likes of Bonk (BONK) and Floki (FLOKI) could go on to 10x, if they can catch up to Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).
But meme coin investors are often after much higher returns, for example, in the region of 50-100x.
That means meme coin investors should consider looking at smaller, lesser-known coins.
Here are three notable up-and-coming Base, Solana and Ethereum meme coins to watch in April.
Meme Coins to Watch In April
BRETT on Base
BRETT is dominating the meme coin landscape on Ethereum layer-2 scaling blockchain Base.

SLOTH on Solana
Solana-based meme coin Slothana (SLOTH) is attempting to follow in the footsteps of SLERF.
